We had a successful time showcasing our manufacturing expertise with British wool at the three-day Source Fashion event at Kensington, Olympia in February. Our CEO, Colin was joined by Tim Clark, Technical & Sustainability Director of John Smedley Limited (pictured below) for a speaker slot, presenting our collaborative journey from farm to fashion to produce the limited edition, Duchy Wool Collection, with some knitwear samples displayed on our exhibition stand.
There was much interest from fashion house buyers and business owners wishing to source British-made goods and services, and with our Made in Britain signage and membership visible, it provided an excellent opportunity to raise our profile on a national and global scale.
Colin said: “Exhibiting and sharing a speaker slot with a prestigious British brand as John Smedley knitwear was a highlight in our development as a business. We attracted a lot of interest by promoting “Made in Britain”, 100% British Wool, maintaining heritage manufacturing and the collaborative nature of our service”.
